| Description | A series of thirty eight oral history recordings, transcriptions and accompanying notes relating to an oral history project undertaken by Mrs. Hawkins between 1994 & 2000. The project entitled 20th Century Morpeth: People Talking arose from Mrs. Hawkins' personal interest in the history of Morpeth. The interviewees are a combination of native Morpethians and incomers and were all aged over 50 at the time of interview. |
