The catalogue describes records held at our Woodhorn and Berwick-upon-Tweed offices.
The catalogue entry records where the item is held.
The catalogue contains collection, file and item level descriptions of many of the collections in our care. These include born digital collections, manuscripts, maps and plans,
photographs, printed collections and other types of material held by us. In total there are approximately 400,000 entries in the catalogue. Some of the entries have digital
images and soundbites appended to them. These are viewing images and can be found at the top of the RECORD page.
Purchasing & Re-using Copies of our Archives
High quality copies can be provided for a charge. Details of prices and an order from can be found on our website at

If you’d like to use any of our images in publication, including use on social media,
permission must be obtained. Please send your initial request to
archives@northumberland.gov.uk.
